DrumStart is a company catering to beginning beginners eager to enter the world of music through rhythm, doing this through one-on-one drumming lessons and pioneering Facilitated Rhythm Events in the country.

Ryan Peralta started playing drums when he was 13. He studied and completed the drumming curriculum at Musar-Yamaha School of Music in Baguio City. It is here where he also began teaching drums at age 16.

In the mid 90s, Ryan entered the music scene and performed with a number of bands and artists such as Boy Katindig, Sandwich, Rikki Gonzalez of Balooze, Grace Nono and Bob Aves group, Sitti, Jolina Magdangal and is currently the new drummer of the Philippine's popular rock group, Rivermaya.

In 2003, Ryan started DrumStart to pursue his vision in helping young kids birth and develop their musicality through drumming.

To further expand his drumming influence, he partnered with Human Capital Asia Inc. pioneering in corporate team- building events through drumming. He attended training under Arthur Hull to develop his skill in drum circle and rhythm event facilitation. He has facilitated rhythm events with people numbering from 20 to 10,000 to companies such as Coca Cola, Unilever, PLDT, San Miguel Corp., and Philip Morris.

Today, Ryan continues to teach young kids, and facilitate drum circles to impart the enjoyment and inspiration of colaborative music by spreading the drumming culture.
